Uniper says Gazprom stops supplies completely
MOSCOW, Nov 3 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has completely stopped supplies of natural gas to German energy giant Uniper, the German company said in a report on Thursday.
Gazprom reduced pumping on June 14, and after a series of disruptions in the supplies, the Russian company completely stopped pumping at the end of August, Uniper said.
The company also said in the report that its net loss attributable to shareholders widened by more than eightfold on the year to 40.374 billion euros in January–September primarily thanks to lower Russian gas supplies.
